Workers who build, maintain and repair giant wind turbines are spotlighted in “Turbine Cowboys,” the Weather Channel’s newest weather-related reality program, which debuts tomorrow evening.

The show is part of network’s plan to increase by 70 percent the amount of original programming it offers this year. The network intends to introduce at least one new show each month through the end of 2012. Among the subjects of future programs will be power-line repairmen, Coast Guard rescuers, and ironworkers.

The Weather Channel is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic service.
