The Weather Channel Hits 30 Years

04/30/12 at 2:29 pm

The Weather Channel has big plans for celebrating 30 years on the air. On Wednesday, the official anniversary, the top of the Empire State Building will be lit in “Weather Channel Blue.” Special programming is planned, too, including employee interviews, bloopers and celebrity shout-outs, as well as both a retrospective of the channel’s past and a look ahead into the future.  The Weather Channel website will debut a new design and feature a look back at weather fashion over the years.

The Weather Channel is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic service.
