Relive President Kennedy’s ‘Moon’ Speech

Fifty years ago today at Houston’s Rice University, President John F. Kennedy delivered his famous speech in which he declared, “We choose to go to the moon.” In it he vowed to put Americans on the moon within the decade, giving NASA its first great mission. You can view the speech here.
