The season four kickoff of “Swamp People” and a new series, “Big Rig Bounty Hunters,” highlight tonight’s programming on History Channel.

In the “Swamp People” premiere at 8 p.m. CT, Hurricane Isaac delays the beginning of alligator hunting season in the Louisiana swamp, forcing the hunters to make up for lost time. Two Texans join the regular cast this season.

At 9 p.m. CT, “Big Rig Bounty Hunters” tracks five groups of colorful characters as they hunt down stolen semi-trailers full of valuable cargo.

History Channel is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
