Monitoring Kids Online: Some Do, Some Don’t

In a Digital Future Project study, 70% of parents said they monitor their child’s social media activity, with 46% reporting they know their children’s passwords. But 30% said they don’t monitor at all.  Their reasons included trusting their kids, not wanting to show a lack of trust, not knowing how to navigate social media, or not having time.

Pediatrician and parenting expert Gwenn Schurgin O’Keeffe weighs in on the findings.
