Season 2 of ‘First Ladies’ Series Starts Tonight

The second season of C-SPAN’s “First Ladies: Influence & Images” premieres tonight at 8 p.m. CT. Tonight’s episode features Edith Roosevelt, wife of President Theodore Roosevelt.

Remaining episodes, airing every Monday through Feb. 10, will focus on each first lady since Roosevelt, through Michelle Obama. Season One featured Martha Washington through Ida McKinley.

C-SPAN’s First Ladies website offers historic letters, recordings, photographs, biographies and classroom resources.

C-SPAN, created by the cable television industry to provide public access to the political process, is available to all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
