All-Digital Upgrade Completed in Bishop

Today, we completed the transition to an all-digital TV lineup in Bishop, Calif., providing customers with superior picture and sound quality.

After the conversion was completed, we introduced a host of new high-definition (HD) channels to the TV lineup. Among them are: broadcast stations KCBS HD (CBS), KNBC HD (NBC), KTLA HD (CW), KABC HD (ABC) KCAL HD (IND) and KTTV HD (FOX), as well as ESPN2 HD, Fox Sports West HD, TBS HD, USA HD, Lifetime HD, Discovery Channel HD, TLC HD, Animal Planet HD, History Channel HD, A&E HD, AMC HD, ABC Family HD, Disney HD, Nickelodeon HD, Cartoon Network HD, HGTV HD, FX HD, Comedy Central HD, Spike TV HD, MSNBC HD, Fox News Channel HD, CNN HD, MTV HD and E! HD.

These upgrades are part of Project Imagine. We will continue to announce launches of new and enhanced services as they are confirmed.

All-Digital Upgrade Completed in Navasota, Texas

Today, we completed the transition to an all-digital TV lineup in Navasota, Texas, providing customers with superior picture and sound quality. We also introduced Video on Demand (VOD)  service.

After the conversion was completed, we introduced a host of new high-definition (HD) channels to the TV lineup. Among them are: broadcast stations KPRC HD (NBC), KRIV HD (FOX), KTMD HD (Telemundo), KUHT HD (PBS),  KHOU HD (CBS) and KTRK HD (ABC), as well as USA HD, CNN HD, TNT HD, Fox Sports Houston HD, ESPN HD, HGTV HD, Discovery Channel HD, FX HD, TBS HD, AMC HD, ABC Family HD, Disney HD, Animal Planet HD, Nickelodeon HD, History HD and CMT HD.

Also, Navasota customers who have Suddenlink digital receivers can enjoy VOD service, available on Channel 1. VOD features thousands of viewing choices, many of them in high-definition (HD) format, including movies, sports, news, music and popular cable-network shows. More than a third of the Suddenlink VOD library is free. The rest is available for either a per-view charge or monthly subscription. Viewers can order titles via remote control at any time.

MAX 50.0 Service Introduced in Abilene

Today, residential customers in Abilene, Texas, can get Suddenlink’s High Speed Internet MAX 50.0 service. With download speeds of up to 50 Megabits per second, it is the fastest residential Internet service offered in the area.

Since spring of 2010, MAX 50.0 service has been made available to residential customers in the following Suddenlink-served communities:

    Arizona: Bullhead City, Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Parker, Payson

    Arkansas: Jonesboro, Pocahontas

    California: Auburn, Humboldt County, Truckee

    Louisiana: Alexandria, Bossier City (including Barksdale Air Force Base), Haughton, Lake Charles, Natchitoches, Pineville, Sulphur

    Missouri: Branson, Nixa, St. Joseph

    North Carolina: New Bern, Tarboro

    Texas: Athens, Balch Springs, Lufkin, Fate, Forney, Gladewater, Grand Saline, Heath, Hideaway Lake, Lindale, McClendon-Chisholm, Mineola, Nacogdoches, Quitman, Rockwall, Royse City, San Angelo, Seagoville, Talty, Terrell

Yesterday, we completed the transition to an all-digital TV lineup in Tarboro, Conetoe, Princeville and parts of Edgecombe County, N.C., providing customers with superior picture and sound quality.

After the conversion was completed, we introduced a host of new high-definition (HD) channels to the TV lineup. Among them are: broadcast station WITN HD (NBC), WGN HD, HSN HD, NFL RedZone HD, Turner Classic Movies HD, E! HD, GSN HD, truTV HD, Oxygen HD, Fox Business HD, ESPNews HD, ESPNU HD, Speed Channel HD, CBS Sports HD, Outdoor Channel HD, Sportsman Channel HD, Golf Channel HD, Lifetime Movie Network HD, HBO2 HD, TMC HD, Epix HD, Starz Comedy HD and Encore HD.

Sallisaw, Okla., Gets Faster Internet Speeds

Today, we more than doubled the speeds of our two existing Internet services in Sallisaw, Okla. They now feature download speeds of up to 1.5 and 10 megabits per second. The latter is among is the fastest residential Internet services in Sallisaw.

VOD Service Launched in Bastrop, La.

Today, our customers in Bastrop, La., who have Suddenlink digital receivers, can enjoy video on demand (VOD) service, available on Channel 1.
